Free radicals are natural byproducts to oxidative processes within your dogs body. Oxidative processes naturally happen 24/7 within all parts of your dogs body. The free radicals they create can build up in a dogs system and cause them various health issues including respiratory diseases, skin allergies, eye problems such as cataracts and blindness, immunodeficiencies, autoimmune disorders, cancer, arthritis, joint problems and heart disease. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals and any other toxins the dog may encounter in order to protect their health.
 
Although within its packaging this product is shelf stable for 6 months I recommend keeping it refrigerated away from any moisture for a maximized storage time of 6-12 months after opening.
 
I recommend sprinkling no more than 1 tsp per 10lb body weight onto their food daily. A little goes a long way. Too much can cause too much sugar intake and an upset tummy.
